Exporting to Excel from SAP over Citrix

Hi Experts,

I have SAP installed on Citrix. When exporting a report to Excel, SAP asks me to save the report to a text file.

However, I would like SAP to open the report directly in Excel. Would I need Excel to be installed on the Citrix server for this to be possible?

Hi Greig,

Excel is needed to be installed on Citrix if you want to open export file in Excel directly. It is absolutely possible.
