Can anybody explain regarding Global Loaner process in Medical devices industry.

Hi All,

I would like to configure two scenarios in SD (Loan & Rent basis):

1. The material is given to the custoker on a rent basis for 12 months. After completing the duration we will take back our material. How i need to configure this scenario in SAP.

2. The material is given on a loan basis to the customer for 12 months. After completing the duration, the product will be owned by customer. How do I configure this in SAP.

you can achieve it through as like returnable packaging scenario

VA01 Create order - OR (in this order speciefy same material as returnable material)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Outbound delivery

If it return

VA01 Create order - LA(RETURNABLE PICK UP) with refrance to previous order>>>>>Return delivery

if it owned by customer

VA01 create order - LN(returnable issue) with refrance to previous order>>>>> create invoice with refrance to order type LN

Else

You can Achieve it through consignment processing like

Cnsignment fill up - (Sales document) KB - (Item Category) KBN

Consignment Issue - KE - KEN

Consignment return - KR - KRN

Consignment Return - KA - KAN
