Customer Inquiry Creation not possible via RFC

Hello all,

I want to create a customer inquiry using BAPI_INQUIRY_CREATEFROMDATA2.

Creation is working fine when called from SE37. If I try with exactly the same data via RFC call, I receive the following error:

"No customer master record exists for customer 169

Sales document was not changed"

I am quite sure I pass the same parameters in RFC and SE37. Customer No. 169 is existent and can be used in dialog mode and from SE37. I usede the same user account to prevent authorization problems.

Any advice?

Hello all,

I found out myself: I have to fill the Customer Number (and other numeric partner keys) with leading zeros.

Obviously, SE37 does this by default.
