1 Client --> 2 Company codes

Hi Experts,

Guys we have one requirement.

Can we maintain 2 company codes under one client. Will there be any problem with taxation, consolidation etc.

Please note that One company is maintained for Germany and another is maintained for India.

Will this create any problem

Dear,

Of course you can maintain multiple Company Codes in one client only and this is what SAP is meant for and you got one Company Code on Germany and One in India so you can have country chart of account for consolidation there is no problem.

If both of your Company Codes use different Chart of Accounts then you will have to get the consolidation program coded by an ABAPer.

Go ahead there will not be any problem.
