Dear All,
can any one please tell me what is the use of capacity category two times. in my scenario two labours will work behind one machine which i take in taredown in one category then what is the use of another category can any 0ne please tell me in detail.

Hi,
Capacity Categories: you can have any number of capacity categories as your wish.
As per you, in your scenario two labours will work behind one machine, here on what basis you want to plan either for machine or for labour or both you can plan.
If you are taking one constraint use one capacity category, if you are using or considering two then use two capacity categories.
Eg: suppose you have labour, machine, transport(fork lift), you can plan the capacity by using this capacity categories.

You can have one capacity category or two.
This is decided on basis of what is your constraint in planning.
Whether it is the machine or the labour.
If you want to use both, then go for two capacity categories.
Based on machine or labour, you can check the capacities in workcenters.
