Multiple MbrAccessProfile.

Hi all,

I use BPC7MSP05 on SQL Server 2005.

I need to set USER1 like below,

USER1 can read & write all Entities on Category1.

and

USER1 can read & write Entity1 on all Categories.

MbrAccessProfile for USER1 that I set is below, but it can't work I expected.

MbrAccessProfile1:

Entity:ALL:Readonly & Category :Category1:Read&Write

MbrAccessProfile2:

Entity:Entity1:Readonly & Category :ALL:Read&Write

USER1 has MbrAccessProfile1&2.

it is impossible?

Please share your opinion.

Regards,

Isao Nakajima

No this is not possible. Security is set up in BPC that BPC takes the access profile with the most rights and uses this one.

So in your example, User 1 will have read and write access on all entities and on all categories.
