Oracle performance parametes

Dear All,

We have a ECC6 windows 64 bit server on oracle 10.2 64 bit.

We recently upgrade our RAM fro 12 gb to 24 gb.

Now which all oracle parameters need to be changed.

Please update the parameters to be changed in initsid.ora file

    Hi,

    Goto Tcode DB02 and from the left pane menu navigate to Diagnostics -> SQL Command Editor.

    Then copy the text from the script attached to note 1171650 (choose your oracle version). Some time ago the script in the english version of the note didn't work, and you had to select German for the note and copy that script. Not sure if SAP already corrected that but you can try both.

    Next paste the text on DB2 right hand panel "SQL Code" and execute. That will give you all recommendations related to Oracle parameters for your system. It's divided into sections being the top ones usually the most critical for you to look at.

    TIP: send the output to excel so you can sort etc.
