" Posting period 009 2009 is not open "

I TRIED - OB52 - STILL IT NOT WORKING

AND I checked - OMSY

ALI - 2009 9 2009 8 2008 12 ( ab - checked )

still it showing

" Posting period 009 2009 is not open "

bcs i cont go for another step

help & PLS and slove

Check the period open or not in MMPV and check which period open in MMRV.

Check SAP NOTES: 852249,

pre. period - 08 2009

last per of pre yr - 12 2008

allow posting to the pre pre ( checked )

in this setting is right ?

Hi Ali ,

At first goto OBY6 , docuble click on ur company code and find the posting period variant.

Now goto OB52 and against the above idenitifed "posting period variant " make sure that the TO PERIOD is 09 and year 2009 .

The same sould be mainatain for all account types ( A,D,K,M,S..) in OB52.

Hi Ali ,

Follow the steps stated below :

At first check ur Fiscal Year Variant linked to ur company code in OB37.

Then in OB29 against ur Fiscal Year variant u find the periods. Select the variant and then click on periods .Now u can find the period against the current month.

Eg : If your period is 10.

Goto OMSY and check the current MM periods.

If ur current period is also 10 then u can very well post the GR provided the TO PERIOD in OB52 is 10.

Note: OB52 u2013 FI Periods defined by Finance Team

OMSY u2013 MM Periods defined by us.

my f. varient is - k4

i have done like that - ob52

to year - 09

year -2009 - only i changed (from + to s ) - that is enogth

still it is not working

says that 09 2009 is not open

what i do

Hi Ali ,

As per my understanding ur entries in OB52 are as follows : as an example i had shown for account type M.

Eg : 1000 M xxx ZZZZZ 1 2006 12 2012 13 2012 16 2012

If u still face a problem drop in a mail with screenshots of OB52.
