Data manager on Portal for workflow approval

Hi! I understand we can run some of the data manager functions via Portal. However, I would like to find out whether workflow activities (involving approval of catalog item for example) can be run using from the Portal? Are there standard iViews allowing that?

Appreciate any advice on the above.

Hi,

Yes we can opearte MDM workflows from Portal using MDM-UWL integration. Configure the UWL as per the steps given in below document and place the UWL iView and Resultset iView in the same page for eventing.

In addition Guided Procedure is used in the Portal for workflow/approval operations.

which is more user friendly method than MDM workflow.
