Plant counting

Hi gurus,

I have a question: I want to count all materials in my plant but when use MI01 I have to choose materials manually.

I want to choose plant and storage location and the system will automatically count all materials for me.

How and where I can do that???

Use MI31, it will create a Physical Inventory document automatically (via batch input) based on your selecion criteria like plant, storage location etc.

Hello,

1)Since physical inventory document is always created at storage location level, we have one individual document for each storage location.

2)There is no such functionality, as required by you so far.

3)One of the ways could be accessing the MARD table for a specific storage location, wherein you can get all the materials maintained in that storage location. You can copy those materials & paste in MI01, to avoid manual entry of material codes.
