service desk on incident management

Hi,

I want to setup the standard service desk functionality. We are on Sol Man 7.0 EHP1 Stack 20. I have looked in to marketplace/rkt-solman and did the steps there. Its too confusing on what steps need to be done on solman and why. Would any one have an easier procedure which would help me understand the steps to proceed? Many thanks for any tips...!!! I
