Standard text stored in different lanagage

Hi Experts,

In my program I am using READ_TEXT to retrieve long test for PO. Now the problem is standard text is stored in DE language. Whereas my sy-lang is EN. That's why it is giving sy-subrc as non zero.

Is there any work around by which i can read that long text stored in diff. lang.
