Hire Maintenance service through contract for Equipment -Plant Maintenance

Hi All,

I want to provide annual maintenance contract for my "n" number of technical equipment pieces to a vendor.

For this,i need to create a Service PO or can be called Service purchase contract.

My requirement is as follows:-

(1) I dont want to create the Service PO from my maintenance order.

(2) I want to create the service PO or Service purchasing contract with account assignment "unknown" mentioning the set of equipment pieces for which the service purchase contract is valid.

(3)During maintenance notification creation of the concerned equipment covered under the service purchase contract,I need a message or information,of existence of the same.

(4)Once the information is prompted to me I shall create a maintenance order.

(5)I shall then avail the hired service,and will create service entry sheet with account assignment F and the generated maintenance order number.

But how to carry out the same using standard SAP functionality.

Please help me out.

Dear,

U could adopt the following procedure.

1) Create a service PO for AMC with account assignment 'U' (unknown) but u can't mention the set of equipment pieces for which the service purchase contract is valid.

2) If u want a message or information during maint. notification creation then u need to enter the AMC start and end period in the eq. mastr data under the warranty tab.

3) After taking the service u can create a service entry sheet with account assignment 'F' and give the order no. created for that equipment.
