    Hi Abhirath,

The need of Integrating EP with SRM : EP (Enterprise Portal) is a web UI which is nothing but the front end of SRM. This UI is user friendly.

This EP is intergrated with SRM Server, SUS Server etc.

This SRM has added functionality for Suppliers like SUS --> Supplier Self Service, wherein the Supplier logs into the portal and submits Bids, takes part in LIve Auctions, creates Confirmations, Creates Invoices on his own, so this considerably reduces the intervention of customers.

Similary ROS --> Registration of Supplier, this helps the prospective Suppliers to get register themselves in the Portal of a particular company with the details of the Products they offer (Product Catalog), their expertise etc, so that the Customer will be in a better position to choose the suppliers.

    Regards,

    KRN
