Hi All,

How the entries are created in CO1P?

What are the settings required to stop entry creation in CO1P?

Thank you

Anil

Anil,

During confirmation process, based on the defination of the updation process control in OPKC goods movement are posted Online or Update program or Background job.

In some cases due to system not unable to lock the records for posting or the record gets locked now these type of errors would not be appearing in COGI directly, these have to be cleared from CO1P only.

Also in cases where during posting goods movement a error message could not be determined by the system then also this record does not appear in COGI, and this has to be cleared intially from CO1P.

As conveyed by other member it is not possible to make any configuration to avoid these records getting to CO1P when the automatic goods movement are processed through confirmation.

The workaround is that you can schedule "CORUPROC" to run in background as frequently as required in your company, so that this program can automatically clear off most of the records of CO1P transaction without any manual intervention.

Hi Anil,

The entries are not created in CO1p. This is just a transaction that you can use to show them.

Basically there are some processes that can be tied with production order confirmation, like backflushing and automatic goods receipt. This kind of automates these processes, as they are done automatically by the system in the background as a consequence of the Prod Ord confirmation.

The thing is that sometimes for various reasons these processes fail to execute properly, and then somebody has to monitor it and correct and reprocess (transaction COGI).

If you don't want to have such entries, then disable backflushing and automatic GR, and whatever other automatic processes that you have defined.

Regards,

Mario
