Hi Guru's,
I am having an issue with how the system is calculating the number of months in a year.
Here is the scenario:-
We acquired some assets from our sister company. Unfortunately we can not do an intercompany within sap. So we are loading using AS91 and plugging in the takeover values. Depreciation start date is April 09 in the new books.
Below are the values -
Aquisition Value - 1,080,505.82
Accum Depreciation - -684,320.37
Original Useful life - 60 months
Remaining Value left to depreciate - 396,185.45
Remaining Useful life - 22 months
Amount asset should be depreciating per month ( Remaining Aquisition value/ remaining useful life) - 18,008.43
since 22 months are left to depreciate - breaks down to
2009 (9months) - 162075.873
2010 (12 months) - 216101.164
2011 (1 months) - 18,008.43
This is what the comparisons should look like for each of the respective years. BUT for some reason in SAP it's showing as
2009 (9months) - 162075.873
2010 (13 months) - 234109.5943
It's not carrying over to the next year ?
Please can someone help me with this ?
Thank you !
Best Regards,
Noopers
how many fiscal periods you have? 12 periods?
verify the asset value & ord dep in 'comparisions' tab of AW01N.
you can also run dep sim report S_ALR_87012936. select MONTHLY_DEP variant..select report 12/31/2010. then verify the dep for each period. You will find some clues.
thnx
