Is it possible by customizing, to default different values in this field in an Action, depending on which pers.area an employee belongs to? or do we need to use userexits, or is there another way.
Example: If an employee belongs to PersArea 1000, this field shold have the value 0, if the employee belongs to Pers.Area 2000, the field should have the value 1. Actiontype is the same.
Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the update. I am aware of not being able to use the dynamic action, and this is why I have not mentioned it in my question.
I am not sure why you recommand not to modify this field, it is not the STAT2 (Employment status) we are talking about here.
It is the customer specific field.
It is a very simple issue, in one country the employee should be "inactive" when in Leave of Absence, in a nother country should be "active" when in Leave of Absence, and I don't want to create two different actions : )
So I guess the only solution will be userexit??

Hi,
I am sorry i thought that , it is the STAT2 (Employment status) and hence suggested u not to modify. If its the Customer field then u can modify it.There is not standard way u can do this. What u can do will be either go for a custom feature and put ur conditions accordingly or a User Exit
Thanks
Swati
Hi,
To change the values in this fields is not recommened keeping the real time in view.Dynamic Action will not help u here.User -Exit is an option but please dont try to modify this infotype field.
Can u have ur requirement more clear so that may be we can suggest u something else.
Thanks
Swati
