hi all!!!
1) Absences: In one scenario : an employee gets 15 earned leaves in a year..
but the max leaves in a/c can be 30 ..anything more then 30 will get lapsed..if not availed by the employee.
where can you configrue this step ..

Absences: In one scenario : an employee gets 15 earned leaves in a year..( Set base Entitlment) as 15 days T559L but the max leaves in a/c can be 30 ..T559L ( Total Entitlements 30 Max)anything more then 30 will get lapsed..if not availed by the employee.
where can you configrue this step in selection group
and those leaves if u want to carry farword T559D determine vlaidity period

You can configure Absense Quota and Set base entitlement...

If i understand 15 days is a leave Quota and it has a carryforwrd option.But max at point of time an employee can have 30 days.Please clrify if this is true and how u r generating the Quotas.Is it Time Evaluation?

yes its no Time Evaluation!
employee gets 15 leaves in a year
but the earned leave max in employee a/c can be 30
anything more than 30 leaves will get lapsed!!!
for example after three years employee will have 45 days earned leaves ..so 15 wil get lapsed
b'coz 30 is max leaves an employee can have in his account take care !!!!
