My scenario is ,on the same date when ever two sales document are being created for one customer, the price of first document will also be updated automatically on the basis of second document irrespective of sales order quantity. For example for Customer ABCD first sales order (1XXXXX1) is created on 21.11.2016 which contain Caustic chemical and the price for this is 1000. On the same date 21.11.2016 when second sales order (1XXXXX2) for the same customer and Product is going to be created system should determine 800 price and also update first sales order and change its price from 1000 to 800.

Please help if any one of you has gone through to above mentioned requirement. Your urgent response will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

You get my point, i have same requirement which you have mentioned that for "when the first sale order is created, price is X and if another sale order is created for the same customer on the same day, then the price is y"

But what will be the logic for this VOFM routine? because in my case sale orders can be created at the start of month but its billing could be done at the month end. Secondly i don't want to update price at the time of billing otherwise it will effect my other discounts and price determination.

First of all, changing the price in sale order is not a good practice. We normally, offer change in price during billing creation. What is the business process such that in the same day, when the first sale order is created, price is X and if another sale order is created for the same customer on the same day, then the price is y? You need to explain on this. Of course, you need to validate through VOFM routine
