Business Place

Dear Sap GURU,

In my client have to two office Gurgaon & Pune, can we maintain 2 Business Place and if maaintained, what my client has face any legal compliance .we have one TAN number for both Gurgaon & Pune office.

Now for creation of new business place for Pune office, why need address.

I have confuse.

Hi

The business places are defined as per the TAN numbers. If the company code is having 2 TAN numbers, they have to define two business places.

Section codes are defined as per the LTAs (Local Tax Authorities). If your company code is required to submit the returns (TDS) in 6 different Local Tax Authorities, you need to define 6 section codes.

For one business place (TAN number), you can assign many section codes (LTAs). But for one section code, you cannot assign many business places.

Hi

As there will be 1 TAN Number , there will be only 1 Section Code for a Company.

Section Code is based on TAN Number.

Create as many Business Place's as per the requirement with different address's.

1 Company can have only 1 Section Code and many Business Place's
