Mass scrapping with excel sheet

Hello Experts,

I have around 200 fixed assets to be retired, so I will use ABAVN transaction and I would like to enter target fixed asset numbers through copy & paste function in excel sheet that has a list of target fixed asset.

But, the problem is when I did copy & paste function for around 200 fixed assets from excel to SAP, only 6 target fixed assets numbers were pasted as many as the number of line item in ABAVN screen.

is there anyone who knows how to copy & paste around 200 fixed asset numbers at a time?

Hi

You don't need LSMW or CATT for mass retirement!

Follow these two steps

1. Create a Worklist

Tcode AR01 >> Copy and paste your list of assets in the selection screen >> Execute >> Click on push button 'WL' (ctrlshiftF8) >> Enter some name for the worklist (Mass1 for example) >> Select 'Retirement without revenue" >> Enter the dates and other details as required >> Press Enter >> Note the worklist number created

2. Execute the Mass retirement

Tcode AR31 >> Select the worklist created above >> Execute >> Click on push button 'Release' (shift+F10)

All the assets in the worklist will be scrapped immediately

Try using a LSMW or ECATT for mass Disposal .

Is LSMW or CATT only way to solve this issue?

Isn't that copy & paste function possible for this transaction?
