GR goods receipt of over quantity forbidden

hi all,

I am trying to do a 101 GR goods receipt via the MIGO transaction but I have a order quantity exceed. I get the M7022 message.

Even if I produced more quantity in my order production compared to my sales order I want to able to do a goods receipt.

I tried to move the M7022 message from error to warning in the OMCQ but it does not work...

Hi,

There is no way in production order that u can contol Excess GR by making Error to Warning Message,

It is not Standard Practice, and it Cannot work in PP.

So there is an Customizing in Parameter OPK4, There is over delivery and underdelivery Tolerence.

for ex if ur Planning GR of Finished for 100 ton, Overdelivery Percentage of 10 % increases you to GR upto 110 Tons.(100-110).

Similary Under delivery Pecentage of 10 % allow you to make GR only 90 Tons.

Pls use this to control the GR of your Finished Product.

I am just wondering why for a sales order driven production youi want allow more GR than the required?

Anyway if it is specific to a production order, you can activate the check box for "Unlimited Over delivery" or define the over delivery tolerance in the Goods Reciept tab in the order header change mode. For future orders you want this to be automatically activated, you can do this by activiating the check box for "Unlimited Over delivery" in the work scheduling view of the Material master.

In work scheduling tab in MM you can mention the under or over delivery tolerance also you have also. unlimited check box there which can be used and also check in OPK4 for your order type

Hi,

Change error message into warning through OPK4 of order type confirmation parameter.

You can also maintain overdelievery % in material master or in Good recipt tab of production order.
