PR is in Hold even though it PO has been created through ME59N,

Hi Team,

I have created a PR in hold status and PR got converted to PO through ME59N job.

That PR is also subjected to Release Strategy.

Can any one please help me, how to block Hold PR's in ME59N ?

I have not yet worked with hold PR.

But I read the change history this way

at 2:35 was the indicator "PR not yet complete" changed from X to blank, which means for me it was set to complete.

at 4:10:09 was the PO created

at 4:10:57 was the PR changed, the release tab appeared and the deletion indicator was set.

From my point of view did the ME59N job do what it was supposed to do, it created a PO for a requisition that was at that time not on hold and not with a release strategy.

I do accept with you that if PR is marked to blank then it means its complete, but the same PR is subjected to release strategies and in PO out "NEU", We can see that PR is converted to PO at 2.45 i.e exactly after 10 mins.

The release indicator was changed from blank (no release strategy) to Y at 4:10, which is about 1,5 hours after the PO was created. At the time of PO creation was no release strategy active

Forgot to add one more point,

User has created a Stock transfer PR with item Category 'U' and on PR to PO conversion as per process it should create stock transfer PO but it has created a standard PO.

Hi Jurgen,

We have implemented business function LOG_MM_CI_3, on implementing we got Hold functionality.

User initially kept PR in hold status and later he had done some corrections and saved it.

PR is not yet released. Please find the change log.

but after 10 mins this particular PR got picked in PR to PO conversion Job.

Please find the PO created time in output NEU.

after this User has marked the PO for deletion.

What do you exactly mean with "Hold" ?

Is the item blocked? or just not released.

If yes was this block already available when ME59N ran?

Was the release tag available in the PR when the PO was created?

Can you give any prove on the time line e.g. from change log
