In MD02, there are two options on initial screen

1) Display MRP result before saving

2) Simulation mode.

What is difference between them because in both cases after saving only results are saved

Hi,

During MRP Run, system will save the results of all materials available in all levels of the BOM.So for each material system will show the results before saving and go to next material.

In the simulation mode, results will not be saved to the data base directly.After checking the results in the simulation mode, we execute the planning run again if satisfied with the results.
