PO Release Strategy

Hi,

i had created a Po for Rs 5 crores and release had effected the PO.

Due to some reasons i changed the Po & vat has included against each item , resulting increase in PO value from 5 to 6 crores.

but despite having all the release strategy configured. The release strategy did not effected.

what would be the reason.
