overheard cost in product costing & in production order ( cost component)

HI Friend,

I need to bring the sale and distribution overheard cost and administration overhead costs in product costing ( i.e in CK11N) And also in production orders. Now i have material coat and activity (labor & machine) cost only, but how to include the sale and distribution overheard coat and administration overhead cost in production orders and in product costing ( i.e in cost component ).

Kingly give step by step info

Hi Arun,

In order to bring in the SD overhead and admin overhead you first of all need to create a costing sheet with detials of Base (giving details of cost element range to be considered for overhead), Overhead (% of overhead on the base) and the credit (details of the cost center and cost element).

Then in Valuation Variant OKK4, in the overhead tab, you need to select the costing sheet that you have created.
