Integration with BI and ECC during upgrade



We have 3 components, CRM,ECC and BI. Currently CRM integrated with ECC and BI in landscape Dev,QA and production.

Now we are upgrading from CRM5.0 to CRM7.0 in new CRM hardware.We are upgrading only CRM box

We are upgrading CRM in new hardware , so one we upgrade CRM5.0 to CRM 7.0 ,can I have to connect same CRM7.0 with old BI and ECC box (Which is already integrated with our old CRM5.0 landscape) or do we need to install new ECC and BI landscape?

I dont think cusomer will provide new hardware for BI and ECC systems, so how can I design the architecture and use same BI and ECC systems to connect with Upgraded CRM7.0 landscape?

Please let me know if you have any thoughts.
