Transit/Transfer column in T-Code MB52

Hi gurus,

In MB52 the column Transit/Transfer has entries showing the quantities of materials, how can i find the related documents, from my analysis they are not plant to plant transfer because i cannot find anything in MB5T and i believe they are storage location to storage location. how to find the related documents that have created entries in the column Transit/Transfer.

And we want to cancel those entries.

Please advise us gurus,

HI,

If you used two step method (Remove and Place ) either for Plant to Plant or Storage Location to Storage Location. So when you remove stock (303 (Plant to plant), 313 (Storage location to Storage Location). Transit / Transfer qty. will be shown by MB52.

Here in mb52 only put material code (transfer material) and simply Execute. Transt. / transfer qty will be displayed in respective column.

As i have seen when you Transfer material by one step method. Transt. / Transfer qty. will be displayed because this one step remove and place in storage location.

If you not confirmed which method you have used. So for confirmation you can material document posted by MB51 here select material code, plant, and in movement type filed selection by multiple selection (301, 303,305,311,313,315)

Hi Vraj,

As you said, i have entered material number in MB52 and left all fields blank, then i am getting 2 rows and one row corresponds to one plant and another row corresponding to another plant.

first row with plant 0001 has transit/transfer column as 2.

second row with plant 0002 has transit/transfer column as empty.

Then i went to MB51 and entered the material in selection criteria and selected plant 0001 and movement types as suggested by you and list was empty.

Same thing for plant 0002 and list was empty.

We are not able to figure out what caused those entries and another issue is we want to clear those entries from the report.

you may missed to analyse the movements with the reversal movements.

302, 304, 306, 314, 316 .

IF you dont find it then, then execute without limiting to movement types. List all movements and search for movements that have the quantity you see in MB52.

How to figure out wether a movement type is one step or two step method.

because when i use a movement type 905 ( customised one for us) it is not updating in transit/transfer column in mb52.

when i use 913 (customised one for us) it is updating transit/ transfer column in mb52.

Can some one explain please.
