Dear All,
When Retained Earning is updated, I have error message showing " Validation Error - IS Profit Loss not equal to BS Retained Earings"
I can able to see the Operation addition excess amount.
Please advise, what are the reasons for differences? How I can rectify them.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Malani
Hi
Check your Trial balance - all the figures loaded in BCS. The validation is failing - P&L not equal to your B/S retain earnings which is self explanatory. You can check the validation rule - check all the FS items maintain in validation and its total. It will take time for you but its the only way.
Thanks
Kiran

Concur with Kiran.
I think that the most easiest way to check if your data come unbalanced is to see the list of totals records, either from a monitor or a workbench and sum up all B/S and P&L items groupped by each company. If the sum isn't equal to zero, you'll have a faulty data for the unit.
P&L - without special item.

Hi, I suggest a course in either or both of the following;
- Accounting
- SEM-BCS
