Hi Experts,

I have a freshly installed and configured PI 7.0 system.

I tried to run a simple file to file scenario, but the input file was never picked up.

When I went to RWB and did a cache connectivity test I get the following error

Cache notification from Integration Directory failedError when accessing the System Landscape Directory

detailed error

No SLD elements of type SAP_XIAdapterFramework found

In communication channel monitoring, I dont see that communication channel at all...

I also see that in SLD -> TechSystem -> ExchangeInfrastructure

RWB and AdapterEgine are on domain abc.def and IR,ID and IS are on domain uvw.xyz

Is this an error??? how can we correct this?

I have already gone thru and applied note 764176

PLs help m eout

Regards,

Teja

What response do you get if you try and refresh the CPA Cache via http://<host>:<port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full

You could also do a full SLD self registration for the adapter framework via http://<host>:<port>/AdapterFramework/sld/sld.jsp to do so you need to create the role Zxi_af_sld_register and add action xi_af_sld_register in UME. Add the role to the j2ee_admin user.

Hi,

Just try to log into ID and create any object example CC and check if you get any warning message.

Check following notes: 1117249 and 764176.

Yet it throws error

Hi,

If this is your Development server, try having a complete server restart once.

Hi Siddesh,

I registered all the components explicitly on a single domain.

As the host name was registered twice at the OS level (thats what the n/w guys say).

It works now , but everyt iem i re start I have to go thru the whole procedure again.

Thank you very much guys, appreciate ur continued support.

Teja

Dear Ravindra,

Its quite obvious that you have not run the Configuration template for PI post-install steps.

I have a freshly installed and configured PI 7.0 system.

Ask the Basis team to recheck the post installation steeps followed.

Have a look at this blog and confirm that the steps are followed...especially the domain difference that you are talking about:

Refer reply from Raghu in this thread (if you have not done so already):

Hi Teja,

Do you still get the same error message regarding the Adapter Framework in SLD? If so, check for yourself if there is an Adapter Framework in the SLD (under the CIM Instances). If there's not, something could be wrong with the self registration of the AF in the SLD. In that case you can solve it by restarting the service XPI CPACache in NWA.

If there is an entry for an AF in the SLD, please follow the other recommendations in this thread, since then a configuration issue seems to be the problem. Think about the initial wizard run or a wrong configuration in the SLD service (check the NWA).

Henk.

Hello Siddesh,

That note helped, thank you, Im now able to see the adapter engine in RWB.

How ever when i do the cache connectivity test it says

No information available about cache notification from Integration Directory

Also in SLD->TechnicalSystems->ExchangeInfrastructure

AE -> Domain X

Domain X -> Domain X

Domain Y -> Domain Y

IR -> Domain Y

ID -> Domain Y

IS -> Domain Y

RWB -> Domain X

Is it because of this???

I have already applied note 764176...how can i correct it?

Teja
