Hi.. Experts
my one client is in Agri Products.
He buys raw material.e. rice, nuts etc in kilos and then process it .
During Process, some raw material goes to waste. for example one bag of 100 KG becomes 97 KG after processing.
but it is not trackable .
Please let me know how to track it.
Regards
Niharika
Hi!
On Receipt from Production Screen you can select Completed / Rejected Qty.
Select 97 as Completed Qty and in next row select 3 as Rejected
The wastage Report has to be customized using BOM definiton and Rejected Qty.
Rejected qty * Child Component (Base Qty)

Hi Niharika...........
Wastage is nothing bust your scrap............. Right?
So, If you want to track it then you should plan it in BOM it self by giving -ve qty value.............
If you have doubt then plz let me know........

You will need to define a BOM for the Finished (final) product and add the Raw Material as its child. The BOm has to be Production BOM.
If you know the exact wastage i.e. 970 gms for 1 kg, then you could define the parent item quantity as .97 and the child quantity as 1
So to make 970 kgs you will need 1 ton (1000 kgs) of raw material
