Help to Assign Security to users

Dear All,

I created folder 'NA' and a group 'NA'. I published crystal reports in NA folder and added 1 user to NA group.

I went to folder NA->User Security->NA and assigned View on Demand security for it. I went to group NA->User Security->Add Principles and add user and assigned full control rights to it. now when i log on to infoview using that user account i am working with i cannot find any folder. I am administrator to development environment for B.O. XI R3.1 if this works then user will get rights on production. Kindly help me where i went wrong.

Hi i created business view called prompts business view. I created another business view for my Net AR AP Report. the parameters for Net AR AP Report business view i made it dynamic using prompts business view. I got a group in central management console public_folders -> NA -> NA - NAC. when i put a user in the group NA - NAC Accounting. He should see value for prompt '{?DEPT}' = 10 only but he can also see 20 for dept. i checked for.

prompts - datafoundation -> filter->insert filter -> formulae ('{?command.DEPT}' = 10)

prompts - datafoundation -> filter->edit rights ->added group NA - NAC -> Checked Apply.

Please help me if anything is missing in the logic.

you are right i forgot to put NA under public folders. now they works.

is the folder NA directly under your Public folders?
