Copy/Paste hyperlink doesn't work

When I copy an URL from a CR 2008 report that's in a text object (no hyperlink) and paste this URL in IE it gives an error that it can't find the URL.

I've tested this with Firefox and it works perfect, it I type the URL manually in IE it also works.

After a long search I found that the reason for this is that CR puts Unicode control characters in the hyperlink (if I copy the URL directly from the DB it also works fine)

Is there a possibility to remove these characters or another way to resolve this problem?
