Character Set

Hi experts,

we are loading some data from a flat file.

We are using the Default as Character Set in the extraction.

It happens that many characters (for example 'è', 'à', 'ù', ecc) in the first extraction are modified.

For example the 'à' becames 'Ã' after the first loading.

Then we use this extraction as source for another data flow. The character is then modified a second time, becoming 'Ãu0192' from the former 'Ã'.

How we can load the correct character?

Is there a different Character Set to be used?

Hello,

Check the infoobject if it is ticked for "Lower case".

Try adding all these special chracters in RSKC
