Saving Planning Area data to Infocube

Hi:

1) For some reason, I am not able to save the DP planning area to an infocube.

I followed the steps shown in the link below.

2) Are there other ways of saving of planning area data (characteristics and

key figures) other than to info cube?

3) If you have any learned lessons from this, could you please share with me? What are the best practices?
