Means-of-Transport Type Issue

There is a field "MnsTransTy" on despatch advice header data in shipment tab. Please respond that where in SPRO I can maintained options for this field.

Hi ,

Means of Transportation is nothing but how the material should be carried or it is a CARRIER.

path: IMG->LOGISTICS-EXECTION->SHIPPING->PACKING->DEFINE PACKING MATERIAL TYPES.

Transaction code is VHAR

Please create new entries and check

To maintain the feild MeansTransportationType , SPRO->Logistics Execution->Route->Maintain Transportation type

Maintain Route determination then you can check the transportation type

SPRO->Logistics Execution-> Shipping-> Basic->Roues->Route determination

While Configuring Route Determination you will be maintaining the feild Means of Transport

SPRO>Logistics execution>Shipping>PAcking>Define Packaging Material type.

I have already maintained there but these options are not appearing in drop down of Means-of-Transport Type .

Check table TVTY, whether your entries has been maintained there?
