standard cost updation

Hi,

For Bought out materials we mainten Price control indicator V, & For Finish & semifinish mainten S.

After costing run system determine the cost for finish product by exploding the Bom components & its price at standard price tab.

Pl. clear my querries,

1. Why the system pick up standard price for the Bought out items as we set Price control indicator V & price is update according to this indicator in moving average price tab.

2.As we set Pice control indicator V For bought out items & price updated accordingly. then why/how system updates or change standard price for bought out items.

Dear Devendra,

1.Check the costing variant that you use for costing purpose in T Code OKKN,which will be linked to valuation variant and under

this the priority will be set for picking up the cost of the bought out items.so under this the priority may be given first for the

planned price,then to moving avrage price etc.

2.In my understanding it is the standard SAP behaviour that the system calculates the std price even for the materials with price

control indicator as V.

Hi,

we use thefollowingdata during costing run,

Costing Variant = ZPEN

COSTING VERSION = 1

VALUATION VARIANT =001

COSTING SHEET =ZLABOUR

COSTING SHEET -MATERIAL COMPONENTS =ZPENG.

For raw material MAP IS 1.20 & STANDARD PRICE IS RAW MATERIAL PRICE + PRODUCTION OVERHEAD =1.2+.23=1.43

How could check material ledger active?
