Hello everybody,
the following interesting problem happens on our SAP CPS configuration:
We have imported via the default SAP_ImportCcmsJobs the EU_PUT job definition to CPS.
Execution as single job works without any error.
Adding the EU_PUT job into a job chain lead to ERROR (status of the step), after execution of the job chain.
By locking into the SAP System, we do not see that the job as been executed there.
Browsing to the error u2026 there is no log to open.
Our SAP CPS env:
Host: NetWeaver 7.01 (SAP Solution Manager with EHP); J2EE = SP05
CPS: M28.11-34167
based on Windows 64
Any idea what that could be?
Many thanks for your replyu2019s.
Best regards
Carlos Behlau
Hi Carlos,
Chain objects (chains & steps) do not have output but they may write messages as operator messages, that could indicate the issue.
My guess would be that you need to specify a queue somewhere: if not specified otherwise, jobs inherit the queue from their job chain but SAP jobs need to run on a queue connected to the process server for the SAP system, otherwise they fail.
If it is not the queue, maybe you need to provide a value for the SAP system & client as well.
Regards,
Anton.

Hello,
just for informaiton.
I updated this week CPS to its latest version (M28.17-35130).
The issue has not been solved by updating it.
But: When I duplicate SAP_AbapRun and configurate them, like the imported ones, they are working.
For your help many thanks.
Best regards
