System Analysis (Active Phase)

Hi,

I am running "Start Programs for Generation and Receiver" --> "Define Conversion Objects" and ends with red status (Completed with error). the message is as follows:

PC002_MT_CONVOBJECTS_DEFINE . . . . . . . . DLT_CONVOBJECTS_DEFINE_001_02

When I look at the detail message I get:

Green . . . Start creation of conversion object Z_ZVARP_001

Red . . . . . DDIC activation failed for one of the structures listed below:

Green . . . Mass processing: End of definition phase for ID 001 on 30.09.2009 at 14:41:56

When I press "Long text exists" in the first red message appears:

DDIC activation failed for one of the structures listed below:

Message no. DMCLG397

Diagnosis

While creating a conversion object, the system could not generate a related DDIC structure.

System Response

The conversion object was not created.

Procedure

Repeat the procedure. As a rule, these generation errors are caused by a temporary problem in the Data Dictionary that should no longer exist when you try the next time.

3 times I have repeated the process and continuing the same mistake.

You tell me:

"Do a trouble shoot on this activity and then choose "forced redifinition"."

but, please can you tell me as I do that?

I find no button "forced redifinition".

Enrique,

Highlight the activity and then on the menu bar on top you will see troubleshotting. click that and then chose the first option Troubleshooting for Conversion Objects. Execute the activity "Redefinition" under that menu

Hello Hugo,

Do a trouble shoot on this activity and then choose "forced redifinition". If that does not work, and if this table is not required you can also choose not to select this from customizing.

If that dont help, open an OSS note.
