Valuating a wage type in infotype 0008 using Cap. Util. Level

Hi all

I am trying to display a wage type in infotype 0008 that is equal to the employees monthly salary mutiplied by the capacity utilization level.

For example

Employee has wage type 1001 - Monthly salary = 10,000 in BET01.

Employee has Capacity Utilization Level = 50%

I want to display wage type 1003 - Part time salary = 5,000.

Wage type 1003 is displayed in LGA02 (amount in BET02) and I have already set up wage type model to default 1003 as mode 'F'. Wage type characteristics for 1003 are non rewritable so employees can not valuate directly.

The value in Cap. Util. Level may be different for different employees, so I can't use indirect evaluation module PRZNT.

Any ideas/feedback would be appreciated.

Hi Phil,

Set the reduction method parameter in wage type characteristics to '2'. It will then reduce the amount according to the capacity utilization level specified in the Basic Pay infotype (0008).
