Problem in LT0G

HI

After cancelling the delivery when i am doing the LT0G (Return to Stock) i got the error that "EnterStorage Unit Type " .

Mssege no L3043 .

Can some body advice me how to correct it .

Hello,

The reason is that for your Storage type configuration, you have "SUT Check active". Hence since you are returning to stock after canceling the delivery, you are basically doing a "put away process" back into the bin. Because of the active SUT check, the system wants you to enter the SUT type (pallet, wire basket..etc) so that it can determine palletization quantity and automatically propose the number of bins to accommodate the stock you are trying to return back to the bins.

I think you do not have any palletization data maintained in the WM2 View and the system is not able to figure out how many bins does it need to hold the stock you are returning. Hence it blocks you and asks you to "Enter the Stroage unit type".

For that material, check the SUT normally used when it is putaway after a goods reciept process. This will tell you the SUT type.

Then, back on the LT0G screen, You can select putaway foreground option and enter the SUT type

If you maintain palletization data, the system will determine SUT's automatically.

Did you use putaway background in LT0G?

Transaction LT0G returns goods that are located in the interim storage area 916 and these storage types are generally

not SU-managed. The quant located in 916 is not SU-managed and consequently the system is not able to find any Storage Unit or Storage Unit Type. Messages L3 216 'Enter a storage unit' or L3 043 'Enter a storage unit type' can therefore be issued. In these cases, please use the 'Putaway Foreground' button.

Have you cancelled the delivery by VL09?

You should not have done that because LT0G will cancel your TO and delivery both.

Any how, now You can try with LT16.
