Hi gurus,

While i am trying to view stock requirements of material in md04 , system is throwing an error 01.01 2043 comes after validity of factory calendar .

I saw the validity of factory calendar and is upto 2042 only.but i want to know what is the reason for which system is throwing that error?

I cant even go and check the req bcz md04 doesnt even appear for that material bcz system is throwing this error. On my observation planned delivery time for that material is 90 days and it is externally procured . It doesnt have any PIR s nor sale orders bcz it is ROH .

Can anyone pl suggest .it would b great if any one give me a solution

Regards

Sowrya

Hello

In transaction MD04 you have the option to set a firming date manually, by choosing the menu option EDIT - SET FIRMING DATE.

System checks, however, if the date is within the factory calendar validity when you are trying to set it manually, so the question is: how did the user managed to set this date?

By any change did you have a factory calendar valid until 2042 assigned to this plant in the past?

My suggestion to fix this issue would be to create a dummy factory calendar valid until 2043, assign it to this plant, fix this date and then change the factory calendar back to the original. Make sure that nobody is using the system when this dummy calendar is assigned to the plant, otherwise, you may end up with other inconsistencies.

Otherwise, you can ask your ABAP developer to simply change this date on the table. I don't think it would have any side-effect.

Hi caetano

Thanks a lot for the solution. I need a small clarification. What would have made user to set firming date upto 2042 ? Did he calculated anything and would have set or might have set simply with out any knowledge? Any opinion from your side ?

Also i have checked for other materials .even those have manual firming date upto 2032,2037,2026 etc .so are these dates are based on any calculations done by user and set?

Planning time fence for this material is 10 days and planned delivery is 90 days .are these values causing any decision to set man firming upto 30.12.2042

Hello

Maybe they would like to ensure that MRP would not generate any replenishment proposal for a looooong time.

In MDFD you have the user name who set the date, so you may check with them how did they set this date. If they are being able to set a date outside the validity of the factory calendar using the standard SAP transactions, you may open an incident to report this issue.

Hi All ,

a small update :

in debugging the code , it as found that system is adding +1 date to CM61M -MFXDT field

In table MDFD (Firming of orders) table , when i checked this in se16 , it is showing man.firming date as 12.12.2042 which is the reason for this error

can any one explain what this man.firming means ,and why it is considering 12.12.2042 . The mrp type for that material is PD .

Hello

The following note explains how to debug and find out the root cause of this error:

204127MRP: Error 61060 /1 /...2 - which element?
