Hi all,

How is BODS connected to DQM ?

Also if I am able to see all the transformations in data quality, so does that mean that data quality is downloaded ? Also I have heard that there is a standard DQM job for BODS 4.2. Please Can anyone please provide it here ? If yes then what would be the source file path ? Where it will fetch the data from ?

Guys please help

Hi Vivek.

SAP DS DQ is a vast topic. I will try to answer your queries but you have to be specific as to what your query is.

Also if I am able to see all the transformations in data quality, so does that mean that data quality is downloaded ? - It means you have license for DQ. Still to use address cleanse, geo-coding etc you will require to purchase reference data from SAP.

Also I have heard that there is a standard DQM job for BODS 4.2. Please Can anyone please provide it here ? - Again please be specific. Are your referring to blueprints or RDS?

If yes then what would be the source file path ? Where it will fetch the data from ? - Both as template sources which you can replace according to your need and use case.

How is BODS connected to DQM ? DQ is a module of DS.

Thanks shazin. I have made the job run in BODS . The job was there in 3.2 and I imported the same job in 4.2. “DIR” files were expired so I downloaded it from sap market place which got the job run .

Now what the task is that we have to maintain rfc connection ? There was no where in the job where any connections were used ? I am not sure how to do it. Can you please help ? How rfc is created in SAP system and BODS system which will connect DQM?

Hi Viviek.

Sorry but again DQ and RFC are 2 very very different things. Remote Function Call (RFC) is a mechanism to connect and transfer data from a SAP system
