cancel release of process order linked to inspection lot

Hello PP/QM experts !

I am looking for the standard SAP process for cancelling the release of a process order for which inspection lots (lot origin 03 & 04) are created at order release.

When I try to do so, I have the following message log:

"Inspection lot 030000000506 for order 1000275 has not yet been completed

Inspection lot 040000000616 for order 1000275 has not yet been completed"

When I try to cancel manually inspection lot in QA02 (menu inspection lot > functions > cancel lot) the function cancel lot is not active.

Do you have any idea ? Is it possible to cancel automatically the inspection lots from the process order ?

Hello,

If you do the Rad PP master data in process order your release will be cancalled and it will set the status as Created.

Read PP master data is only possible when you not did any transaction against that process order.

If you did some issues, confirmation, goods receipt against that order cancel all transaction and do the read PP master data in change mode of your process order.

thanks for your answer, it has been very usefull.

"Read PP Master data" allows reversing the status to CRTD. Consequently inspection lot (lot origin 03) is inactivated.

However inspection lot (lot origin 04) still blocks activating the deletion flag for the PO.

I have had to go in QA02 to cancel manually the inspection lot and then in the PO to activate the deletion flag.

Is it the SAP std process to do it ?
