Reg : E-Filing in PI 7.0

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me what is E-filing. Is it used for sending electronic documenets to and from SAP system.

And how it implemented using SAP PI 7.0 .

Any links pointing to the implementation guide will be very helpfull.
