hi

ı want to confıgure our r3 for sendıng maıl

but smtp servıce does not start l checked tcode SMICM for smtp service that not actıve

ı have checked icmbnd permıssıons on aix system

(chown root:sapsys icmbnd

chmod 4750 icmbnd )

trace fıle for thıs lıke thıs :

dev_icm

error: icmbind service : you might not have the permissions to bind service.........

are there anyone who have ideas?

problem is revolved

ı changed prf parameter for smtp port (from 25 to 0 )

smtp servıse now is binded to port
