Hi Experts,
Our client is maintaining a 4 decimal wagetype on infotype 0008 for all hourly employees. When creating a Merit record on infotype 759 via PA30, the calculation base defaults to 2 decimal places, rather than 4. Is there a solution for this?
Thanks,
Zack
Hi Zack
My experience is more from the MSS side
i think that currency format is taken by personnel area that employee belows to in T500P then retrieved from T500C via LAND1
- T500C probably contains USD not USD4 which is why you get only 2 decimal places
It may require modification more than just T500C - you may need to essentially define this new currency USD4 and
identify all locations where USD4 needs to be defined and where function modules might mask 2 decimal places or where 2 decimal places might be the standard definition
Best wishes
Stuart

Thanks Stuart, however we are not using the portal to administer our compensation plans. Everything is being done through the backend using the standard delivered SAP compensation programs. For example, when executing the standard program PECM_CREATE_COMP_PRO, it will create IT0759 records, but only take 2 decimals into account as the calculation base from IT0008.
In IT0008 however, we are mantaining 4 decimals for the hourly rate and this should be the calculation base defaulting in IT0759.
Thanks,
Zack
