Backward/Forward scheduling

Hi TM expert ,

customer delivery date in FU was 10.25.2018 at 8 am . It is a multistep scenario and it takes around 5 hours to deliver to both customer .

I was expecting that system will calculate loading end time at 10.25.2018 at 3 am but since plant is not open at 3 am so it will do forward scheduling and start scheduling from one day ahead on 10.24.2018 but it did not do . It is scheduling on 10.25.2018 itself and considering loading time as maintained on calendar for shipping point .

Have you already looked in the penalty costs for late delivery? Another solution direction you might look for is assigning calendar resources to your trucks instead of opening hours on your locations....

    Hi Mate ,

    Thanks for your reply .

We did not define late delivery cost …

I am still wondering what factor is deciding to behave system in this way .

Where do I assign "calendar resource " to truck resource . Are you talking about assigning time on "capacity variation " ?
