Hi Guys,
I have an issue with one environment where the Firefighter ID is not locked for use once it is logged in. The SPM dashboard still shows that the account is available for use and can be used to login with multiple sessions and logons.
Have you encoutnered this previously and if so, what was the resolution?
Is the solution influenced in anyway by the Parameter in RZ10 for multiple logins?
We are on version 5.3 SP06.
The user exit program has been imported and appended correctly with the relevant include which restricts the Firefighter ID from logging in directly.
Any help you can provide would be useful.
Thanks, Simon
Hi Simon,
The issue may be RFC related.I faced similar issue. Please make sure FF id have the authorization for relevant RFC.

Hi Guys,
In answer to your questions -
The users are set up as Service Users so that the passwords do not expire.
I do not believe this is related to the RFC authorisations as the users are able to login. In fact the issue is that they are able to login too much!!!
Will the RZ10 login parameters for multiple user logins have any impact on this? Just a thought.

All,
This issue was due to the setup of the application severs and their definitition in the host file.
All of the application servers needed to be pointed and assigned to the correct host and then the SPM solution was able to lock the user across them all!
The way to find out was to run FM TH_SERVER_LIST from SE37.
If the entries are DSNL then you may have a problem in a multiple server environment!

What's the type of user for the FF ID ?
Cheers !!
Zaheer
