Internal number assignment is not possible for the material type,what are settings to do in oms2 i click the external num check box and save it ask some request detail pls tell me how to solve this..

In request you do not have to provide anything, in description IMG:TR .........something related with your project u need to mention and save it

This topic very common and discuss many times in the group.

Please check the Material Type in Tcode: MMNR, Which group your material type is assigned.

For the same group do you have any Number range maintained?

Please check and revert.

You have to pass the customizing transport request in Request which you have in se10

goto OMS2, double click your material type

uncheck the External no assignment w/o check indicator

your issue will be resolved.
